Our backyard is in bloom!! Yesterday the boys and I did some "Spring Clean Up" in our backyard. Griff worked hard repairing the gopher damage from last fall. We mowed the lawn, trimmed over grown plants and pulled weeds. The backyard looks lovely now. After we were finished, I stood on the deck, looked out over the grass and for the first time this spring, noticed the beautiful blossoms on our fruit trees. If you've been to our home, you've probably noticed the many young trees on the property. Bryan has a small obsession with plants/trees. I think we have about 20 fruit trees on our property..... apple, pear, fig, avocado, pomegranite, cherry, peach, 4 in 1 (plum, nectarine, peach, apricot), lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits. The first picture above is the 4 in 1 tree. If you enlarge the picture by clicking on it, you'll notice the different colors of blossoms - deep red on the right, pink on the left and white in the middle. Our strawberries are blooming, the rose trees and plants have luscious leaves & it's time to plant our garden. I love spring and I'm anxious for Bryan to come home to enjoy the beauty of his fruit trees that he so lovingly planted!! Thanks honey for making this such a beautiful and peaceful place to live. Happy Spring!

Gopher damage?! Your trees look so beautiful. I think I'm going to have to look back often at those pictures seeing as we just got more SNOW. Could Bryan come spread some of his obsession in our yard?
Your yard looks beautiful! Spring has yet to arrive here in New Jersey.
I had no idea you had THAT many different fruit trees! That is so great! I would love to have a yeard like yours someday. I just notices the blossoms around the other day as well. So beautiful! Gotta love spring, especially how it comes so early here! :)
Your yard looks so pretty! I love all of the blossoms and I also had no idea that you guys had so many different kinds of fruit trees, that's so fun! And that candy store looks awesome! We would totally spend our allowance on 5 cent candies at the local candy store or 7/11 and that's so fun to know about a store you can buy individual candies at, we'll totally have to check it out - thanks for telling us about it! :)
Lucky that you have such a cute yard! love the blossoms!
That is so beautiful. There is nothing better than spring blossoms.
