RemodelRemodelRemodelRemodelRemodel

We took the summer off but now we're back at it. I finally sprayed & scraped the wallpaper off the lovey bedroom walls. Last weekend I cut down our ceiling in our vanity area of our bedroom & scraped the acoustic down from the rest of the bedroom ceiling. Here's a funny image.... Me wearing work jeans and a sweatshirt with the sleeves pulled down over my hands standing on a step ladder yanking yucky sheet rock down trying not to let nasty old insulation touch me as it pours out of the ceiling. Oh yeah... this imaginative picture should include my safety goggles and a dust mask and me squeeling with repulsion each time any insulation touches me. Funny huh?

Bryan ripped into the bay window and window bench. The best thing is that Bryan is building a cedar laundry hamper for inside window bench. I love it. No more laundry baskets. Laundry baskets are lame. Always in the way or not stylish enough or piled too high- I can't stand them. So, we're into it up to our necks and it'll take awhile to finish. But, I'm really excited!
