I adore my children's Pediatrician, Toby Lustig. He is absolutely awesome. He is funny and keeps the kids laughing. They know he cares for them. It's obvious the boys believe Toby is their friend too. They are confident in his care. We've seen Toby since Isaac was born - almost 9 yrs. He has been through the worst of times with us during Noah's horrible uncontrolled seizure days. In fact, he took a year away from his practice and took his family to Africa so that his wife could accomplished some important things in her career path. During his year in Africa, he selected a very competent and caring physician to watch over his patients. He also kept in touch with us via e-mail helping Bryan and I to keeping going, thinking and searching for help for Noah. He goes above and beyond the call of duty. I can always count on a call from Toby if Noah is hospitalized. His has an amazing ability to empathize with his patients. Toby also has a positive attitude and a way of explaining difficult issues to parents and kids.
Within the past week Isaac, Griff, Noah and I were all diagnosed with strep. Toby cracked us all up by saying "It's so nice to see a family that shares!" Hilarious!
Many thanks to Dr. Lustig for the many years of great care!

He sounds great! It's also funny because his last name, Lustig, means happy, funny, jolly, etc. in German. So his name totally fits him! :)
Sorry you guys all have strep! Thank heavens for antibiotics and great doctors to prescribe them! :) My girls also love going to the doctor's. They ask to go all of the time. I'm glad you guys have such a great one!
Strep! That's the WORST! Sounds like a great doctor, that's awesome.
I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE doctors like that and they are so hard to find! When we are settled (whenever that will be) I will definitely take more time to find a doc like yours to manage our family's health. If you have any tips on finding them let me know.
Bummer about the strep!
We caught strep this week also and went to see Dr. Lustig. He told us he would call me if the test was negative, and as we were going to the car, suddenly he comes sprinting out of the office with his prescription pad. The test was positive and he wanted to save us another trip back. We love him too!
