Halloween was so much fun! I have to start with our Halloween hauntings. First, Griff's costume as The Riddler -Jim Carey style - was awesome. We all worked on his costume; Griff's creativity, my Goodwill hunting skills & Bry's stencil carving and costume design skills! Isaac was the perfect Napolean Dynamite! He had the facial expressions and dance moves down not to mention he's never seen the movie. Noah retained the Superman costume for the second year. Just as cute and twice as sweet. All three participated in their school parades & had an excellent time Trick-or-Treating. Noah traded his candy in for $20 and a trip to Toys R Us.
Griff turned 11 yrs old in October. He's an amazing boy. I feel blessed to be his Mom. Griff has many strengths but one that I admire is wisdom Wisdom to listen to others and the humility to incorporate the things he has learned, alter his choices and reason through tough problems. He has so much integrity at his age. Griff also has a kind heart and a great sense of humor. His birthday party had a cowboy theme. We roasted hot doggies around the fire pit, drank rootbeer, roped and "hooey tied" stuffed animal horses, played a round of rubberband gun shooting gallery, made boondoggle hat bands for our cowboy hats (party favor) & ate ice cream lemonade pie. A fun day!

THE BOAT
Over the summer, we realized that we don't want to miss critical time with our boys to the remodel requirements of our home. So, although not giving up every Saturday remodel moment, we will be spending a weekend a month on the Lake boating, water skiing, knee boarding, wake boarding, tubing and/or fishing. The boat is an older model and perfect for the "first time" boating family. Inexpensive but fun. We went out last Thursday and partied all day on the Lake Berryessa. It didn't downpour until just as we began strapping the boat onto the trailer. Bry really worked hard to research this purchase and make the trip a good one. Thanks honey!
