Yesterday, Mitt Romney withdrew from the Presidential Campaign. It was a sad moment. His withdrawal speech was the most powerful and amazing speech I've ever heard. I've always been an independent but I think I need to become a registered Republican. It was everything I believe in. I feel sad that America has passed on such an incredibly talented person. A person that had the incredible know-how & experience to change the course of this country! If you want to read it....

Sad, sad, sad. I don't know how you can't look at what he's done in Massachusetts and with the Olympics and look at his policies - especially with health care and the economy and not think he would be amazing. I think that after 4 years of Hilary the country will be ready for him. My hope is that he'll be like Reagan and come back in 4 years and clean up the mess that will have been made! Did you hear his speech about faith in politics? It is also a gem :)
I'm with you Cathy. I was absolutely moved by his withdrawal speech and even felt fear for what's to come. I'm reading Three Cups of Tea and I believe more than ever that this war on terror needs to be finished and finished the right way. I believe Mitt could have done it and I do believe that McCain can do it to. Please, please No Hillary!!
Sad, sad day.
It's not that bad. Now everyone can vote for Ralph Nader!
